Dessa beter sig mycket olika beroende p\u00e5 vilken typ av cellkemi de anv\u00e4nder och hur de reagerar i h\u00e4ndelse av brand. Det b\u00f6r dock understrykas att de flesta station\u00e4ra batterilagringsl\u00f6sningar som finns tillg\u00e4ngliga idag fr\u00e4mst anv\u00e4nder LFP (LiFePO4, litiumj\u00e4rnfosfat). Detta \u00e4r en termiskt stabil kemi som inte drabbas av termisk flykt vid en brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om vi zoomar in p\u00e5 litiumjonbatterierna finns det flera olika kemiska sammans\u00e4ttningar som var och en l\u00e4mpar sig f\u00f6r specifika till\u00e4mpningar. NMC (nickel-mangan-kobolt-oxid) ger till exempel en bra balans mellan specifik energi, specifik effekt och h\u00f6g prestanda, vilket g\u00f6r det idealiskt f\u00f6r elfordon och e-mobility-applikationer. LFP f\u00e5r h\u00f6ga po\u00e4ng n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller s\u00e4kerhet och livsl\u00e4ngd, samtidigt som det ger bra prestanda n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller b\u00e5de effekt och energi. En av dessa \u00e4r semisolid state-tekniken. Den \u00e4r fortfarande baserad p\u00e5 LFP men skiljer sig genom att anv\u00e4nda en betydligt mindre m\u00e4ngd flytande elektrolyt. Semi-solid-state-tekniken i qapasitys batterier bygger ocks\u00e5 p\u00e5 denna s\u00e4krare typ av litiumjonkemi.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e5 qapasity \u00e4r vi helt \u00f6vertygade om att LFP-tekniken \u00e4r en mycket s\u00e4ker teknikfamilj, och genom v\u00e5ra semisolid-state-celler har vi tagit n\u00e4sta steg f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra s\u00e4kerheten ytterligare i v\u00e5ra batterisystem. Inom dessa kategorier finns det olika undertyper som NMC, som har varit vanligt f\u00f6rekommande i elfordon, och LFP, som anv\u00e4nds i stor utstr\u00e4ckning i b\u00e5de station\u00e4r energilagring och elfordon. Inom LFP-kategorin finns det olika produktfamiljer, bland annat semi solid-state, d\u00e4r en stor del av den flytande elektrolyten har ersatts med en gel. Detta f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrar s\u00e4kerheten och minskar risken f\u00f6r brand tack vare semi solid-state-tekniken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det \u00e4r viktigt att understryka att ett betydande antal batterier har installerats i Sverige och runt om i v\u00e4rlden under de senaste 2-3 \u00e5ren, och m\u00e5nga fler installationer kommer att ske. Trots detta \u00e4r batteribr\u00e4nder fortfarande s\u00e4llsynta.
